In SAS^® Merchandise Planning, the hot key combination of Ctrl + r might prompt you to save the worksheet instead of recalculating the worksheet. After you make a selection from the Save pop-up prompt that surfaces, the worksheet is closed.  If you have any other worksheets open at that time, they are also closed. 

This Save prompt that is displayed after you use Ctrl + r happens after you make a selection from a filtered lookup table. If you make another edit  in a KPI that is not associated with a filtered lookup, then the Ctrl + r combination recalculates the worksheet as expected.
